ReverbNation is a Web 2.0 website dedicated to the music industry and offers a wide range of interactive and collaborative tools for Artists, Labels, Venues, and Fans.  I covered a wide range of duties as a developer, QA manager, and all issues regarding technical support.  As a developer, I was responsible for developing applications using Flash, Actionscript 2.0/3.0, Ruby on Rails, Ajax, Javascript, XML, HTML, CSS, and MYSQL.  Most of the development work I worked on focused on integrating Flash Video (.FLV), and MP3 formats of digital and audio w/ the Flash and Ruby on Rails, XML, MYSQL, and Javascript environments.  I also worked extensively w/ RSS and ATOM feeds and built a Flash feed widget module as one of my projects.   I was responsible for building and testing Flash  s in a wide range of Social Networks and other web environments.  I was the Quality Assurance manager and was in charge of deploying the latest builds to testing servers, maintaining the testing suite and writing extensive test coverage.  I was also in charge of addressing the technical needs of the sales team and customers.

Near-Time is a Web 2.0 collaboration website that specializes in building business relationships in a powerful interactive environments.  Near-time is a built on a ruby on rails platform that is dynamic and flexible enough to handle a wide range of content driven needs.  I was responsible for developing applications within the MVC framework of Ruby on Rails using Ruby, Ajax, Flash, Javascript, XML, XHTML, CSS, and MYSQL.  I built the RSS, ATOM and Podcast feeds for the main sections of the site. I worked w/in a team of developers and designers with a complex automated Subversion version control system.  I also worked as a member of the Quality Assurance team on nightly deploys to help find bugs and performance problem w/in new releases of the Near Time app. I also handled the technical needs of the sales team and customers.
